Today is the launch of the power red liquid lipstick color!  This much anticipated color is the perfect dark red/maroon color.  Power red falls right between flamenco red and rich rosewood liquid lipstick.  Below are before and after swatches of all the liquid lipsticks - the photo on the top is shortly after application and the photo on the bottom is after the liquid lipstick has had some time to dry.

I have had so many emails and requests to create more liquid lipstick colors and some of you may already know that I have already been working on more colors in the lab.  Rich rosewood has been one of the more popular shades of liquid lipstick so I knew I wanted to create another maroon shade.  Power red is lighter than rich rosewood and has more of a red tone as you can see below.  This shade is a really versatile color as it isn't too dark or too bright.  I personally have a lighter skin tone and light hair and this is definitely a color I can wear without feeling like my lipstick is too dark.

I have already had a few questions about the name power red and why that name was decided as the name.  I thought power red was a good description of the actual color because this color is such a powerful, statement color.  It also my hope that when women wear this color they feel powerful so power red is really a very fitting name.
