Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING

We ship most orders with the United States Postal Service.  We ship to many addresses worldwide.  Please note that some products are subject to restrictions, and others cannot be shipped to international destinations.  Liquid fragrances ONLY ship to the continental United States.  We do not ship to countries that require animal testing by law.

All shipping rates are flat-rate and are based on the country or geographical location. 

Once an order is packed and ready to ship, a shipping confirmation with tracking will be emailed.  Order and shipping confirmations are automatically emailed to the same email address used to place the order.  Most shipments are shipped with the United States Postal Service (USPS).  All orders are shipped from Minnesota in the U.S.A.. 

Tracking information is automatically emailed to the same email address used to place the order once it is available.  Please allow time for the tracking information to be updated.  If an issue arises with your shipment, it is best to contact USPS directly by emailing them here or calling 1-800-275-8777.  The USPS has more information about packages available to us.   USPS typically has more information about packages that isn't displayed in the tracking information.

UNITED STATES
Shipping in the U.S. is a flat rate of $5.00, including tracking.  Orders over $20 ship for free in the United States. Shipments normally take 2-5 days to arrive, but can sometimes take up to 10 days.  Local shipments to the Twin Cities area (Minneapolis and St. Paul) are usually delivered in 1-2 days. 

INTERNATIONAL
Shipments to International countries have a flat rate of $16.00 (Canada), $16.00 (Europe), $17.00 (Australia/New Zealand), and $16.00 (Mexico).  We currently ship to Canada, Mexico, most European countries, Australia, and New Zealand.

International shipments normally take 8-15 days for delivery; this time frame does not account for any delays during the customs process.  If a package is not delivered within the estimated time frame, it doesn't necessarily mean the order is lost or misplaced by the USPS.  Occasionally, international shipments can take longer than the 15-day delivery estimate, often due to customs delays.  

Once a package reaches the destination country, it is transferred from the USPS to the local postal service of that particular country.  The original tracking number will then be traceable through the local postal service.  The tracking information on usps.com will be limited once a shipment leaves the U.S., but will show customs clearance and delivery.

All import duties and taxes are the customer's responsibility and are NOT included in the shipping cost.  These charges are the buyer's responsibility, as we have no way of knowing if a country will charge customs fees or taxes.  We will NOT mark international shipments as a “gift.” Please do not ask, as this is illegal.  Shipping delays for international shipments can often be caused by customs.  We are not associated with customs in any way, and we have no control over the customs process.  There is no way to speed up the customs process.

Aromi is not affiliated with the United States Postal Service or any other local postal services; we are not responsible or liable for lost or misplaced shipments.  

PAYMENTS
We accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

US SALES TAX
Aromi collects sales tax for orders shipped within the state of MINNESOTA.  Minnesota Sales Tax will show on the order checkout page once the address is entered.

As part of our order processing, we screen all orders for fraud or other unauthorized activity.  We reserve the right to refuse to process an order due to suspected fraud.  We also reserve the right to refuse to ship to certain addresses due to suspected fraud or other illegal activity.  We take these measures to protect our customers and ourselves from fraud and other illegal activity.

 

RETURN + REFUND POLICY

Due to the hygienic nature of our products, we only accept returns for new, unused products.  You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund.    Shipping charges are not refundable.  We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is due to our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item).  Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on used products.  Returns can be shipped to Aromi Returns, 5421 Feltl Road, Suite #130, Minnetonka, MN 55343.

If you need to return an item, simply log in to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu, and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via email once we've received and processed the returned item.

We are not responsible if an incorrect address is used on an order.  Once the original shipment is returned to us by USPS, we can ship a second package after the shipping fees are paid.  A second shipping fee is required only when the address used on an order was incorrect.  If a second shipping fee is not collected, a refund minus the shipping fee.
